About The Glades

135 shops and 463,000 sq. ft of prime retail space. Major anchors are M&S, Debenhams and Boots.

The Glades has been the launch pad for a number of retailers including Steiff Gallery, Jack and Jones, Zara and La Senza.

A number of tenants have relocated to large units or expanded sideways including Karen Millen, McDonalds, Marks & Spencer, Café Giardino, Swag and Debenhams.

The Centre operates a shopmobility scheme. personal styling service, car valet service, Gift Card scheme and children's playcentre.

An average of 17,000,000 shoppers visit the Glades each year.
66% of shoppers are ABC1 and the core population is 300,000 with a catchment of over 1.3m people within 30 minutes drive. 50 % of Glades shoppers live within a 20 minute drive time.

Transport

Approximately 46% of Glades visitors arrive by car. 40% by public transport.  There is a very good public transport system – bus and train and two railway stations (Victoria Station, London approximately 20 minutes journey time) with services also to Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Canterbury and Hastings.
