Glades Going Green
The Glades have worked hard in 2007/2008 in conjunction with Ahern Waste Management Services to decrease landfill waste to zero.
Waste Management
Waste management materials include cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, waste electrical electronic equipment (WEEE) and other general waste.
The Glades and its retailers now operate a 100% recycling policy which in turn helps prevent litter and improves the environment.
Energy saving
The technical service team at the Glades are always looking into new initiatives to help reduce energy consumption and improve the overall Carbon Footprint of the centre.
