Deaf children to meet DIVERSITY at the Glades
Excitement is mounting among the families of Bromley Deaf Children’s Society, as they look forward to an exclusive ‘meet and greet’ with this year’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winners, DIVERSITY.
The children will meet with the street dance stars, who have generated a huge global fan base, in a private evening session at the Glades on Thursday 19 November. The special invitation came as a result of the Bromley Deaf Children’s Society (BDCS) being the shopping centre’s current featured charity. Says Lorraine Nee, spokesperson for BDCS, “The kids are unbelievably excited about this and we’re absolutely delighted that they are receiving this special treat.”
After meeting the deaf children, the 11-strong group will also meet winners of the Glades’ DIVERSITY competition. With each winner able to bring three guests, up to 400 fans will get the chance to see the dance stars, who performed many times in the Glades’ fashion shows before hitting the big time. Each party will get a specific time slot to pose for a photo with the lads in HEAD, the shopping centre’s brand-new music and movie store. Each winner will receive a free print of their party with DIVERSITY, courtesy of the Glades’ resident photo studio, Viva La Foto. Fans wanting to take part in the competition need to enter on line at www.theglades.uk.com and must be over 16, although winners may accompany under 16s to the event.
Says Maria Cooper, Marketing Manager at the Glades, “We’re so excited to be welcoming DIVERSITY back to the Glades and we know that our competition is going to be extremely popular. With space limited in the centre because of our huge Christmas tree and festive activities, we’re sorry that we can’t accommodate a public appearance for DIVERSITY on this occasion but we may be able to arrange this for a future date. This time around, though, only the competition winners and their guests will see the lads, so fans need to visit our website to be ‘in it to win it!’”
